I think it would be better to take an engineer because they usually are very resourceful people that can solve a lot of different problems. If you don't believe me, maybe be you should read the novel The Martian or watch the film to understand my answer.
Well, after a while thinking on the question aforementioned, I have came to a final decisiĆ³n. I would take Leticia Sabater with me. Why? Very simple: She was part of the "Supervivientes" show and she reached almost the final, spending a total of eleven weeks in the island. Consequently, she is experienced in surviving. Besides that, a year alone must be very boring, but I'm pretty sure I would be really amused with her ideas and thoughts.
Taking an engineer might not be a bad idea... Fortunately, I don't feel sick very often, so I can assume that I´ll be healthy on the island too. However, I´m not a "handywoman", so I guess I´ll need the help of an engineer to be in charge of basic necessities, such as shelter, obtaining water and things like those.
